Testing different material's ability to float

Both float quite well when there is no pressure enforced on it. However, the rice paper goes soft very quickly and begins to sink. The rice paper is also a little smelly. As for the seaweed, it survives much longer on the surface but after an hour of so, the material starts to disintegrate. We decided to not use filo pastry for our vehicle because its difficult to handle and crumbles very easily.
